Mr. Arnob Roy, MD and CEO of Tejas Networks said, “Q1 revenues were driven by international shipments of 5G radios and domestic shipments of 100G/400G Optical and FTTx products. We registered our first commercial win for an end-to-end 5G network deployment in South America, marking a significant milestone for the company. We witnessed growing demand for our fiber broadband, packet and optical transmission products from leading carriers and utilities, in India and in international markets, driven by growth in datacenter deployments.”

Some of the other key highlights of Q1 FY27 were:

  • Supplied GPON OLTs to Tier-1 Indian telcos for their countrywide rollouts
  • Selected as a vendor for the communication network modernization of a large power utility
  • Won expansion order for 100G+ Coherent DWDM equipment from a leading bandwidth wholesaler in Africa
  • Filed 46 patents in Q1 FY27 taking our cumulative global patent filing count to 722

Mr. AVS Prasad, CFO said, “In Q1 FY27 we had a revenue of Rs. 402 Cr, a QoQ growth of 21%. We ended the quarter with an order book of Rs. 1,529 Cr. Our net debt was Rs. 4,277 Cr; gross debt of Rs. 4,866 Cr and cash of Rs. 589 Cr.”

Tejas Networks [BSE: 540595, NSE: TEJASNET] today announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra Information Technology Corporation Limited (MahaIT) to jointly impart world-class training and certification in emerging telecom technologies to engineering students across Maharashtra, especially in the underserved regions of the state. The MoU was signed in the presence of Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, and Adv. Ashish Shelar, Hon’ble Minister of IT, Government of Maharashtra alongside other esteemed dignitaries at the ‘TechMahaImpacT 2026’, Maharashtra’s premier CSR & Technology Conclave, held in Mumbai yesterday.

MahaIT serves as the nodal agency of the Government of Maharashtra for the efficient implementation of its Information and Communications Technology (ICT) initiatives including prestigious projects such as Aaple Sarkar, Direct Benefits Transfer (DBT), Mahanet (Bharatnet), Smart City among others. The purpose of the MoU is to jointly enable skilling and certification of engineering students, especially from Tier-2, Tier-3, and underserved regions of Maharashtra, in emerging telecom and digital technologies through online and instructor-led training programs. The MoU also aims to explore joint areas of collaboration in skilling, industry-academia engagement, and technology-led capacity building in association with Maha IT.

Mr. Arnob Roy, COO of Tejas Networks said, “In Q4 FY26, we made significant progress in international business expansion of our Wireless products, with the first commercial order for our 4G/5G wireless products in international markets, a 5G Massive MIMO radio supply contract with NEC, and successful trials of our 5G products for an operator in Americas. During the quarter, we also witnessed strong traction for our 400G/800G coherent DWDM solutions in telco and carrier of carrier networks to serve the surging bandwidth demand for 5G backhaul, enterprise and data center connectivity.”

Some of the key highlights for the full-year were:

  • Won additional packages for Bharatnet – we are a leading supplier of IP/MPLS Routers for Bharatnet Phase-III; won 7/12 packages• Successful commercial launch of BSNL’s pan-India 4G network powered by our indigenously designed 4G/5G RAN products;
  • Selected as the IP/MPLS router OEM for the largest number of BharatNet Phase III packages announced in FY26; and completed shipment of 17,000+ routers which are being deployed across 9 states and 5 union territories
  • Launched several state-of-the-art Wireless and Wireline products, which included 64TR massive MIMO radios, a converged 4G/5G core and a hyper-scalable Data Center Interconnectivity platform
  • Forged a multi-faceted strategic partnership with Rakuten Symphony to develop integrated Open RAN solutions and engage in joint go-to-market efforts
  • Filed 63 patents in Q4 FY26 taking the cumulative global patent count to 676 of which 371 patents have been granted

Mr. Sumit Dhingra, CFO said, “In Q4 FY26 we had a revenue of Rs. 333 Cr, a QoQ growth of 8%. We ended the quarter with an order book of Rs. 1,514 Cr, a YoY growth of 49%. Our net debt was Rs. 3,531 Cr; gross debt of Rs. 4,035 Cr and cash of Rs. 505 Cr. For FY26, we achieved a revenue of Rs. 1,103 Cr with a PAT loss of Rs. 909 Cr.”

Tejas Networks [BSE: 540595, NSE: TEJASNET] today announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) to catalyze innovation, research, and skill development in emerging telecom technologies. IIT Gandhinagar is recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India and is known for delivering high-quality education and advancing cutting-edge research in various areas of science, engineering, design, management and humanities.

The MoU will promote strategic collaboration between the two organizations in advanced telecom research areas aligned with national priorities.
